Fuel Tips for Your Carburated Outboard Motor

Fuel Tips for Your Carburated Outboard Motor
Use your fuel up within 4-6 weeks, after that it is better to start fresh. If it takes you all season to use up one tank, start by buying less. Fuel stabilizer for ethanol gas is always a good idea. When you are leaving your motor and it will be at least a week before you use it again, shut off the fuel valve (on integral tank motors) or un plug your remote tank fuel line and let the carb run out of fuel and do not hook up the line again or turn the valve back on until you use the outboard again.
